Each decking system is customized to ensure seaworthiness first and foremost - our beautiful aesthetics are built into a guaranteed watertight fit. Seams and joints are caulked using our private label epoxy that has been tested and certified in extreme hot and cold environments on the open ocean.
Every system is a custom order, built to any thickness or width - standard plank is 1' 7/8" wide x 1/2" thick. Our pride of workmanship and experience guarantees a superior aesthetic finish - we specialize in minimal or 'zero screw' deck installations.
Decking is also available in either straight or sprung planks. The latter is made with curved battens to follow the curve of the hull or cabin house. The decks can be shipped pre-fabricated, reducing installation time and sanding up to 95%.
Teak Cabin Sole - Interior Flooring
Teak Marine fabricates beautiful interior floors for all sizes and styles of yachts. Our unique pre-fabricated system enables Teak Marine clients to choose from a variety of exotic woods to match or build a new cabin sole. The layout for the interior can either be straight or sprung planking. Seams can be made from beautiful woods such as holly, walnut or maple.
Swim Steps
Teak Marine also specializes in world-class custom swim platforms. Our decks start with a width of 8 feet and range up to 26 feet.

Templates
The Company prides itself on producing patterns to the highest standards of specifications. We work closely with major yacht builders and replicate exactly the designs proposed. This is an industry where requirements are so tight that the difference between success and failure is often measured by less than one millimetre.
Installation
Teak Marine technicians travel anywhere to install our precision made decks. Crews are fully insured, supply their own tools and simply need access to the vessel to complete the project. Installation is cost effective as clients are dealing with a fixed cost, the highest standards and a one year guarantee.
Epoxy
Teak Marine uses a world-class, private label marine epoxy for all of its fabrication and installations. In lab testing, it has been found to have 100% teak failure (this a good thing!) - the deck will shatter before the glue releases. With almost no chance of 'lifting' or failure, durability is unsurpassed with a Teak Marine deck.
Caulk
The silicone caulking used is an integral component in overall quality of the teak decking. Privately labelled for Teak Marine, our caulk has a long track record of teak decking applications. Its strong black colour, expansion qualities and ease of use make this a fantastic product.
Teak Wood
One area that Teak Marine stands out far and above its competitors is with the quality of the teak. Paul Tufts, the owner, travels the world to source the finest available. He hand selects every piece of teak used in production. It has to be Asian, golden, quarter sawn vertical grain from G1 or G2 logs. An impressive stable of mills and agents throughout Asia supply this rare consistent high level of quality. Once selected teak is loaded into containers and it is shipped to the port of Vancouver. Our wood products are designated as "legally harvested" and fully documented. Teak Marine is also working towards the goal of having teak come from sustainable sources in the near future.
